At URT, we quickly enacted new policies and procedures to reduce risk to our employees while continuing to operate at peak efficiency. The health and safety of our staff is our number one priority. As of today, we are fully operational and are monitoring the situation closely. Waste and recycling companies are considered essential services and are not fully impacted by any shelter-in-place order.
Additionally, our ITAD and resale teams are working on programs to assist local and regional schools with their laptop and PC needs. Many schools are moving toward on-line classes and are ill prepared for student device access. We hope to help as many schools as possible.
We would like to remind you that in response to the COVID-19 virus, the Residential Customer Drop-off Program has limited consumer drop off hours. Please check with your local collection site to verify drop off availability.
