Last week, URT representatives traveled to Orlando, FL for the 2019 E-Scrap Conference. The conference is one of the largest networking and learning opportunities in North America for the electronics recycling and ITAD industries. From September 23rd to the 25th, more than 1,000 professionals from countries all over the world attend the three-day event. URT attends the trade show every year to meet with existing partners, grow new relationships, provide solutions and gain insight into the newest marketplace trends and challenges.
URT returned as a Gold Sponsor, speaker, and exhibitor representing one of the trusted leaders in the recycling industry.
Several speakers were invited to give industry assessments through a series of interviews, panel discussions and presentations. As one of the few experts in CRT glass processing, URT’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Jeff Gloyd, gave an outstanding presentation on overcoming the challenges associated with recycling the material.
Throughout the trade show exhibit hours, URT hosted a business card collection bowl for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By collecting 237 business cards, URT donated $237 on behalf of visitors to their booth. The donation will support research and treatment of childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
URT had a wonderful time visiting with familiar faces and meeting new ones. The E-Scrap Conference and Trade Show brings the most innovative professionals together in a rapidly changing market.
