Janesville, WI — November 3, 2025 — URT, a national leader in IT asset disposition (ITAD) and electronics recycling, announced the promotion of Billy Espindola to Director of Sales. In his new role, Billy will oversee URT’s Sales and Customer Service teams, focusing on strengthening collaboration, supporting customer relationships, and driving continued growth across the organization.
“Billy brings strong leadership qualities, commercial insight, and a genuine commitment to our customers and team members,” said Ken Thomas, President of URT. “His experience across multiple areas of the industry, combined with his collaborative approach, make him well-suited to continue advancing URT’s sales and customer service departments as we move into the next phase of growth and customer-focused alignment.”
Billy brings more than a decade of experience across sales, materials recovery, recycling, and IT asset management. He began his career in the metals sector, building commercial relationships and operational expertise with organizations such as Trademark Metals Recycling and Sims Metal Management, before expanding into circularity and value recovery programs with Jabil Circuit and PedalPoint Recycling. This blend of commercial and technical experience gives Billy a deep understanding of the full electronics lifecycle — from materials recovery to responsible reuse — aligning seamlessly with URT’s lifecycle solutions approach.
